Members Receive On Demand Access to Customized Peer-to-Peer Comparison of Financial and Operations Data as Survey Enters Third Year of Data Collection

WINDHAM, NH – September 9, 2013 – Dynamic Benchmarking, a provider of dynamic cloud-based business benchmarking and reporting solutions, today announced that the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) is entering its third year of data collection using its online benchmarking platform and continues to see the benefits of this solution grow. AAM develops standards and best practices, provides resources and career development, and advocates for the growth and improvement of its over 21,000 members.

An early adopter of Dynamic Benchmarking online survey solutions, AAM launched its Museum Benchmarking Online platform in May 2011 to collect financial and operations data from its members. Previously, the data had been collected using paper surveys and results manually tabulated and distributed to members in printed reports. The process, while delivering valuable information, was both arduous and time consuming.

“Dynamic Benchmarking has allowed us to collect and deliver data more easily and in a much more timely fashion,” says AAM Chief Operation Officer, Laura Lott. “This online solution allows us to deliver fresh and meaningful data to our members when they need it.”

In addition to the great value afforded to their individual members, AAM is also able to leverage the data collected for presentations, articles and, most importantly, advocating for its member base.

“MBO gives us the most up-to-date data to inform our presentations and articles whenever we need it,” adds Lott. “The trend data that we have collected over the past few years has been invaluable in illustrating the importance of museums to our economy and society.”
