Dynamic, web-based benchmarking platform provides comprehensive, apples-to-apples comparison of key performance indicators of urgent care practices worldwide.
Windham, NH (PRWEB) June 03, 2014 - Dynamic Benchmarking, a provider of customized online benchmarking and reporting solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of a new, comprehensive benchmarking tool for the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA). The dynamic, web-based platform will measure and compare over 250 key performance indicators gathered from urgent care facilities from around the world giving them critical insight into the operational and financial performance of their peers as well as their own operations.
Founded in 2004, UCAOA supports the vital need for health care that is not only expert and reliable, but also patient-oriented, convenient and cost effective. With over 6,000 members worldwide, UCAOA seeks to advance and distinguish the role of urgent care medicine as a healthcare destination and support the ongoing success of its membership through education, advocacy, community awareness, benchmarking and promoting standards of excellence. In support of these efforts, they conduct a biennial survey of urgent care providers to measure and compare key data points of their operations.
“Our industry has, and continues to, experience many changes over the past several years,” comments UCAOA Membership Director, Jami Kral. “The data provided by this study informs key business decisions and helps shape numerous processes and policies for our members.”
The survey collects a large amount of information including compensation, demographics, hours of operations and accreditation data. It also asks participants about marketing tactics, technology usage and quality measures all collected via a secure, web-based portal that ensures the anonymity of all participants. While the amount of information collected is vast, most participants can enter the necessary data points in about 30 minutes.
“Running a successful urgent care operation requires access to timely, accurate, and actionable performance data,” continues Kral. “The Dynamic Benchmarking team helped us streamline our survey so that it collects the information necessary from, and desired by, our members while minimizing data entry time.”
“By striking a balance between comprehensive data collection and brevity we’re confident that UCAOA will see an increase in survey participation over previous years, providing their members with valuable insight gleaned from the largest sample size possible,” adds Lisa Haswell, Technical Account Manager at Dynamic Benchmarking.
UCAOA opened the survey for data collection in March of this year to nearly 6,400 members from more than 2,600 clinics in the US, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Mexico and New Zealand. Data contribution is free for both member and non-member clinics. Access to comparison and reporting will be available in June with different price points for members and non-members.
