DYNAMIC, WEB-BASED BENCHMARKING PLATFORM PROVIDES HIGHLY DETAILED, CUSTOMIZABLE REPORTS FOR OVER 1,200 LOCAL UNITS OF GOVERNMENT.

Windham, NH (PRWEB) June 30, 2014 - Dynamic Benchmarking, a provider of customized online benchmarking and reporting solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of a new, online benchmarking tool for the Michigan Townships Association (MTA). The simple yet powerful platform provides compensation and benefits data comparison to the over 1,200 local units of government that govern over 96 percent of Michigan’s land area.

The Michigan Townships Association promotes the interests of, and provides services to, the township governments of the state of Michigan. Michigan is one of 20+ states in the country that has township government, which is characterized by many unique traditions and characteristics including its compensation model which can encompass everything from salaried to hourly, per diem and by service payment.

“Because of the unique nature of townships, our members required a benchmarking platform that could easily adapt to address their township situations,” comments Catherine Mullhaupt, MTA Director of Member Information Services.

Historically, MTA conducted and compiled their annual compensation and benefits benchmarking study manually, a time consuming and tedious process which yielded static reports with a limited number of data point comparisons. The new, web-based platform collects and analyzes data automatically, in real time, and provides customizable reports that each user creates to their own requirements. But while the move to an online platform was certainly enticing, there was some trepidation.

“Many of our townships do not have access to high speed Internet nor are all of our members comfortable with technology—many work out of their homes in rural areas that may not have access to broadband or WIFI. Working with a complex, online system wasn’t feasible,” adds Mullhaupt. “Dynamic Benchmarking provided a solution that was not only easily accessible, but extremely user friendly. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly and easily our members have adopted to the new process.”

“We are pleased to be able to meet the needs of such a unique organization,” comments Betsy Delfosse, Dynamic Benchmarking Chief Operations and Technical Development Officer. “It’s organizations like MTA that show the true capabilities of our solutions.”
