Data collection and analysis tool found to be one of top three benefits to association’s membership while providing additional revenue stream through reseller relationship
WINDHAM, NH – October 16, 2013 - Dynamic Benchmarking, a provider of dynamic online business benchmarking and reporting solutions, is pleased to announce the continuing success of their reseller relationship with the North Carolina Medical Group Managers Association (NCMGM). Providing medical practice administrators a rich source of information and contacts for professional growth, NCMGM not only uses the Dynamic Benchmarking platform with its own members, but also resells the customized tool to other medical group manager associations around the country.
NCMGM has long been a proponent of the importance of benchmarking, having started its compensation and benefits surveys three decades ago. The data collected from these surveys is consistently listed as one of the top three reasons that members join the association and is considered one of the most valued benefits of membership. Over the years, NCMGM has worked to make the process more efficient and of greater value to its members, moving from a traditional, paper-based process to a custom-built, online data collection platform in 2005. While vastly improving the process, NCMGM still needed to hire a firm to process the collected information and produce reports which typically took about six to eight weeks.
In September 2012, Dynamic Benchmarking launched CheckPoint, a custom, online data collection and reporting tool for NCMGM members to measure key performance indicators in the areas of compensation and benefits. The new platform provides real time data entry, immediate access to collected information and generates customized reports and charts in real time.
“The ability to access data and reports immediately was a huge improvement for our members,” comments Melissa Klingberg, NCMGM Executive Director. “We could instantly see how this would be of value to other associations as well.”
With that in mind, Klingberg approached Dynamic Benchmarking about the possibility of reselling CheckPoint to other medical manager associations. NCMGM had been reselling their own data collection platform to other associations since 2005 and wanted to bring the greater functionality of the Dynamic Benchmarking tool to them. Dynamic Benchmarking agreed to the partnership and, just one month after launching CheckPoint for NCMGM, they launched the first of twelve platforms sold through NCMGM.

To date, twelve other state organizations have adopted the CheckPoint solution, all with great results and satisfaction.
