Online data collection and analysis tool will deliver critical information on individual compensation and practice productivity

WINDHAM, NH – July 12, 2013 – Dynamic Benchmarking, a provider of dynamic online business benchmarking and reporting software, today announced that it has launched a multi-functional, online benchmarking platform for the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). The AAN Compensation and Productivity Survey is a two portal platform that will gather both compensation and benefits data of individual physicians as well as measure key indicators of productivity and efficiency of practices.

Dedicated to promoting the highest quality, patient-centered neurologic care, the AAN serves the professional development and advocacy needs of more than 26,000 neurologists and neuroscience professionals. As part of this mission, they turned to Dynamic Benchmarking to help them gather and deliver the latest and most comprehensive data available on industry trends in compensation and benefits and practice efficiency and productivity.

“We had been looking for quite some time for just the right benchmarking tool to deliver this valuable data to our members,” said Catherine Rydell, CAE, CEO, of the American Academy of Neurology. “Dynamic Benchmarking’s real-time data access and customization of reports impressed us.”

Launched in May 2013, the AAN Neurology Compensation and Productivity Survey consists of two modules: one that collects individual physician data and another that tracks information and metrics on neurology practices. Once completed, survey participants can generate custom reports and presentations that compare salary, productivity, and practice information to select peer groups using breakdowns including subspecialty, geographic region, practice type, and more. All participants are assigned a secure login to protect the anonymity of the data.

“The data collected by this survey will help our members make informed decisions for the advancement of both their individual careers and professional practices,” added Rydell. “Because of the dynamic, customizable nature of the reports, our members are able to access and manipulate the data in ways not possible with other survey methods.”
