Revamped study provides crucial, on-demand insight into industry trends and peer-to-peer performance comparisons for Destination Marketing Organizations around the world
WINDHAM, NH (PRWeb) – October 25, 2016 - Dynamic Benchmarking, a provider of customized online benchmarking and reporting solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of a new, interactive benchmarking study for Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI). The DMO Compensation and Benefits Study will provide real-time, peer-to-peer comparison of key performance indicators in the areas of salary and compensation, retirement plans, as well as healthcare and insurance practices within the destination marketing space.
DMAI is the world’s largest resource for Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), which are commonly known as convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs) or tourism boards. Dedicated to improving the effectiveness of more than 4,100 professionals from nearly 600 destinations in approximately 15 countries, DMAI provides its members with educational enrichment, networking opportunities, travel marketing benefits and other resources, including industry data and trend analysis. Benchmarking has been an integral part of the organization’s value-added services and something that its membership has come to expect.
“Our members need to see trends and comparative information specific to the destination marketing industry to make crucial business decisions,” says Don Welsh, President & CEO of DMAI. “The information derived from this annual study is critical to their success and in high demand from our members.”
Funded by the organization’s Destination & Travel Foundation, the DMO Compensation and Benefits Study examines topics such as salary and compensation, retirement plans, healthcare, insurance and more. Last conducted via e-mail in 2014, the revamped study provides on-demand access to a user-friendly, yet sophisticated, data collection interface as well as instantaneous customized reporting.
“We chose Dynamic Benchmarking because of the simple integration with our existing association management system, the ease of data collection and the customized reporting,” continues Welsh. “Several of our members have already commented that the survey was much easier to complete this year than it had been in the past, and that they look forward to participating again next year.”
