Football, Friends and Food - A Great Time for all The 2012 ASAE Annual Meeting and Exposition

I love trade shows. They're always full of unique experiences and familiar faces and this year's ASAE Annual Meeting did not disappoint! Here are just a few things I learned at this year's event:

I did not miss my calling as a football star. ASAE's opening party this year gave us full access to the Dallas Cowboy's Stadium where I quickly learned that I really DO throw like a girl. However, I must say that Baron Williams of ASAE may have a second career as a field goal kicker, after seeing him send three impressive kicks through the uprights! Way to go, Baron!

There are a lot of great people in Dallas. Everywhere we went – cocktail parties, the exhibit hall, our hotel and ASAE events – we were greeted by some truly friendly staff members, exhibitors and Dallas natives. Likewise, it was wonderful meeting up with many of the ASAE staff, customers and show attendees at the brilliant ASAE events.

We have some really smart customers! While I enjoyed all the great entertainment on our visit to Dallas, my favorite part of this year's event was the incredible conversations I had with customers and prospects at our booth. We love our customers and ASAE is a great time to catch up with them. I have to give a shout out to AUPHA and AAMI who both mentioned Dynamic Benchmarking in an education session which sent some new folks our way! Booth conversations, while brief, yield interesting ideas and implementations for the future. We are very excited to get started on some of these new endeavors!

So while my NFL dreams have been extinguished, many friendships both new and old have been rekindled and many a seed planted for new ways to utilize and improve Dynamic Benchmarking's solutions. Back in New England, our team is hard at work on some new and exciting projects which we hope to share with you soon!
