New, online benchmarking platform from Dynamic Benchmarking delivers direct peer-to-peer comparison data to members for the first time.
WINDHAM, NH February 13, 2014 - Dynamic Benchmarking, a provider of online benchmarking and reporting solutions, is pleased to announce the successful launch of an interactive member compensation and benefits benchmarking platform for the Grants Managers Network (GMN). This new, web-based, data collection and reporting tool provides unprecedented access to comparison data covering salary and benefits among GMN’s member base.
The Grants Managers Network represents the interests of over 2,400 members from 1,200 grantmaking organizations that represent the breadth of the philanthropic community including small family foundations, prominent national foundations, grantmaking public charities, and socially responsible corporations. For the past several years, GMN has conducted a compensation and benefits study for the benefit of its members. The data gathered is highly valued by individual members as they negotiate salaries, plan staffing budgets and evaluate their career paths. In an effort to provide a better user experience and greater depth of information to its members, GMN selected Dynamic Benchmarking to assist them in their annual data collection and analysis process.
“We wanted a benchmarking solution that was not only easy to use for our staff and members, but also provided a great deal of customization and delivered impeccable data integrity and detail,” says GMN Communications Director, Nikki Powell. “Dynamic Benchmarking offers the greatest amount of customization that we’ve seen, from the number of questions available on a page to the detailed reports users can generate once the data has been collected.”
With a membership base composed of highly analytical, data-driven professionals, it was essential that this benchmarking study not only collect accurate and detailed information, but also allow members to manipulate and view the data in the ways most valuable to them. The customizable reporting filters offered by Dynamic Benchmarking made this possible in ways never before experienced by GMN members.
“The ability to compare data points on a true peer-to-peer level has been, by far, the most popular feature with our members,” adds Powell. “Not only have we been able to provide our members with greater detail and relevance in the data we collected, they’re able to view it at a very granular and personal level which we’ve not been able to offer with past solutions.”
Adding value through the entire process was the Dynamic Benchmarking team.
“I was surprised, and very pleased, by the amount of support we received from everyone at Dynamic Benchmarking,” continues Powell. “The entire process, from question selection and format to the structure of the survey and data filters was highly collaborative. They took the time to get to know our business and anticipate our needs and, rather than fit our business to their solution, they made their technology conform to us.”
Data collection using the platform began in July 2013, with comparison and reporting becoming available in late August 2013. Member usage and feedback has been very positive with a higher than ever survey completion rate and many positive comments on all aspects of the platform from the friendly user interface to the numerous customizable report filters.
