Dynamic Benchmarking Improves Benchmarking Process and Reporting for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.

Windham, NH, July 29, 2015 - Dynamic Benchmarking, a provider of customized online benchmarking and reporting solutions, is pleased to announce the recent launch of a nationwide salary and benefits benchmarking study for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA). The survey collects national, regional and state data on 20 key positions and is an important tool for Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) to use to attract and retain the best employees.

ASCA is the national membership association that represents ambulatory surgery centers and provides advocacy and resources to assist ASCs in delivering high quality, cost-effective ambulatory surgery to all of the patients they serve. For many years, ASCA has been conducting a salary and benefits study for its members, though the last one was completed in 2012.

“Historically, we have mailed or faxed the survey to our members and compiled the results manually,” says ASCA Chief Financial Officer, John Greenwich. “Dynamic Benchmarking has a lot of experience in conducting salary and benefits studies and everything we’d seen of their online platform seemed to make sense for us.”

The new ASC Employee Salary and Benefits Survey opened for data collection on June 1, 2015. The survey allows ASCs to compare their compensation packages to similar ASCs, negotiate a raise, or determine the salary and benefits for a new position. ASCs can also benchmark their information against other ASCs by region, number of employees, specialty, number of patient encounters and more. The new online platform also provides users with personalized graphical reports and many options for data comparison to create the most meaningful reports possible.

“The dynamic aspect of the reporting is one of the most attractive aspects of Dynamic Benchmarking,” adds Greenwich. “Not only does that mean our members will have immediate access to customized reports, but the transparency and accessibility of the data make it easy for us to monitor and improve the quality of the data we’re collecting as we’re collecting it.”

Participation is free for all ASCs, and members who complete at least fifty percent of the survey will have free access to their personalized reports.
