Things are heating up this summer at Dynamic Benchmarking. Our team is out and about at conferences, industry events and visiting our clients while we also put the final touches on our own, first-of-its-kind benchmarking study.

**New Member Engagement Study**
Dynamic Benchmarking, in partnership with Kaiser Insights, is proud to announce that it will launch the first-of-its-kind benchmarking study to gather, analyze and share association industry best practices for new member onboarding, orientation and welcome programs. The [New Member Engagement Study](http://www.dynamicbenchmarking.com/new-member-engagement-study) will deliver a comprehensive report to assist association professionals in increasing retention of first year members.
**Dynamic Benchmarking Tours DC**
Betsy and Lisa spent a good amount of time last month in the Capitol area visiting many Dynamic Benchmarking customers including the [Ambulatory Surgery Center Association](http://www.ascassociation.org/home), [Destinations International](https://destinationsinternational.org/) (formerly known as DMAI), [American Staffing Association](https://americanstaffing.net/), [Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives](http://www.acce.org/), [Trusted Choice](https://www.trustedchoice.com/), and [International Food Distributors Association](http://www.ifdaonline.org/) to name a few. It was great to connect face-to-face with so many of the people whom we work so closely.

**Make Your Survey Data Matter with Walt Paczkowski**
[Betsy](http://www.dynamicbenchmarking.com/company/team/betsy-delfosse) and [Jeff](http://www.dynamicbenchmarking.com/company/team/jeff-hare) recently attended a very informative presentation given by survey research expert, Walt Paczkowski at Boston University. [Make Your Survey Data Matter](https://www.jmp.com/en_us/email/2017/q3/explorers/58371.html) tackled some of the most pressing issues in survey analysis including exploring data relationships, building models and how to effectively explore the nebulous data collected by the ‘Other (please specify)' field.

**Women’s Leadership Conference**
[Betsy](http://www.dynamicbenchmarking.com/company/team/betsy-delfosse) and [Jane](http://www.dynamicbenchmarking.com/company/team/jane-higgins) had an informative and inspiring day at the [Women’s Leadership Conference](https://continuinged.uml.edu/wlc/) that was recently held at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. They attended numerous sessions on leadership, empowerment, entrepreneurship and more - all tailored to provide female executives and business owners with the support needed to run a thriving and successful business.
